About Us

The vision of Calvary Chapel is based on one scripture,

1 Corinthians 13:8 — Love Never Fails.

We are commanded to love one another fervently. Jesus told us the whole world would know we are His disciples if we love one another just as He loved us. Love fulfills the law, faith worketh by love, love covers a multitude of sins, love hopes all things, endures all things, believes all things, Love NEVER Fails. Therefore...

"We Believe a GREAT COMMITMENT
To the GREAT COMMANDMENT
And The GREAT COMMISSION
Will Grow a GREAT CHURCH!"

The Great Commandment

  • Matthew 22:36-40
"Jesus said, 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart ... soul ... and mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and Prophets hang on these two commandments.'"
  • John 13:34
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.
  • 1 John 4:7
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
  • 1 John 4:20
If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.

Our History

Calvary Chapel of Ft. Worth is a non-denominational fellowship. It is affiliated with Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa, California. In the Fort Worth area, Calvary Chapel began March 13, 1992 as a Bible Study in the home of Bill and Becky Quinn.

At its inception, four people came together for fellowship and study in God's Word. At their second meeting three people received Christ.

On February 21, 1993 Calvary Chapel had its first church service. After just two years, they had outgrown the facility and moved to the present location.

In October 2009 we completed the addition of our 14,000 sq. ft. KiDZ Church. We pray that we will be breaking ground for our new 900 seat sanctuary in the near future.

Calvary Chapel of Fort Worth is a ministry founded on the scripture from 1 Corinthians 13:8, "Love Never Fails." Pastor Bill received Christ on a Florida beach in 1977. He attended Calvary Chapel Las Vegas from 1979 until 1984, when he moved to Texas to begin full-time ministry. In addition to working in the Christian concert industry, this is Pastor Bill's second church to plant for the Lord. He has traveled abroad and in the United States teaching the Word of God.
